Another New release from Jenn Ck!

Just in time to celebrate Grandparents day this September, JennCK has released 3 great grabbags to help celebrate her very first year of designing as well! These are fantastic grab bags!

This is just one of the 4 sets of  templates that you will get with her template grab bag this month. I used this set in both layouts I did this week. 

Her first kit grab bag is Grandma. It was inspired by her own  grandmother who passed a few years ago. It is a  bright, sunny and warm kit perfect for the special women you scrap. It coordinates perfectly with the Grandpa Grab Bag as well so you can mix and match! 

and her is the Grandpa kit that was also inspired by her grandfather that passed.This kit is masculine and rich and  perfect for the special men you scrap.

New Kit Release From Jenn CK

I'm back to bring you a brand new preview of one of JennCk's new kits out at SBB! She has got 3 new kits out and they are great fun!

Sweet Summertime is packed full of some fantastic papers! Personally,  I LOVE the glitter ones! It also has some adorable summer themed elements and 4 different colored alphas.

I did a little recoloring on this one, but loved how it turned out!

Gotta Pixel August Layouts

The end of August concludes my first month as a CT at Gotta Pixel. It has been a whirlwind as I have been figuring out the requirements and the forum and gallery, but I have loved every minute of it! I got to work with two fantastic designers this month, and I wanted to share their wonderful kits and my layouts with them! Stop by the store today and check out these great designers!

This fantastic kit by Victoria Feemster is called "Hope"  Hope is soft and lovely and great for any layout!

I got to work with two kits by Lyndsay Jane this month as well! This one is called "Perfect Day" and it is a great  kit for summer or spring layouts.  Perfect for outdoor or wedding photos too! It is a great kit that can be used for anything and everything! I LOVE these colors!

The other kit of Lyndsay's I got to use this month is called "Pink Champagne"  This kit is made from the prettiest shades of pink and green.  Perfect for pages of the girls in the family, and also fabulous for wedding pages or celebration pages!

I love the versatility of this kit! It doesn't have to be all PINK! 

OR you can make it as pink as you can take it!

This Just In....

Well, I have two more exciting announcements and these are the last for awhile! First, The Daily Digi magazine has asked me to join their team permanently! I enjoyed my guest stint, and decided that it was a great click for me! I get to work with a variety of designers and they ladies there are really great to work with!

Second, I get to FINALLY announce that I am a SUNSHINE SWEETIE! When I first started scrapping, I found Sunshine Studios. I always wanted to be a sweetie there and now, only a few years later, my dream has come true! I am getting acquainted with everyone there, and you will start seeing my layouts soon!


Now, for the even BETTER news....i know, just when you thought it couldn't get any better right?? LOL.
I have been working on a gift for Rachael of all her pictures and some advice I want to pass along to my beautiful oldest daughter. I have been really pleased with it so far, and got a couple of more pages done this weekend. Anyway, one of the layouts was chosen as a Gallery standout at DST, and the other layout was chosen to be featured as a Gallery standout on the GSO blog! I was super excited! It is always nice knowing that other creative members and scrappers choose your layout as a standout! It is such an honor!

I told you I have been busy! I have got a ton more that I have done and they are not released yet, so I will be back to post them as we get closer to September!

School Days, School Days....

Hey all, 

I hope this post finds you well. I have been so busy getting ready for school, trying to find a schedule that will keep me more organized and scrapping, that I have barely had time to look up, much less to sleep. I go through these periods of insomnia that are getting more and more frequent as I get older. Well, at least I am productive! I was up until about 6:00 this morning and scrapping away!

I am really excited to announce that I am now on the Creative Template Team for Jenn CK Designs at Scrapbook Bytes and also at A Cherry on Top.  Now this lady has some talent! I noticed her templates and kits several months ago and I was immediately hooked! When she had her call recently, I HAD to apply and lucky me, she decided I was ok too! LOL.  Since I am on her template team, not only do I get to use her fantastic templates, but I get to work with her gorgeous kits as well..BONUS! So here are my first two layouts with her gorgeous new back to school kit and templates! I love it because it is not your normal school colors..it is bright and FUN!

Aren't these great? I just LOVE templates when you are low on inspiration. She has great, easy to use templates for all stages of scrappers!

I love the last layout..it was a work of art for me and is my first no picture layout. I really wanted to document the same question Courtney has been asking since kindergarten.."Why can't I ride the bus home?" Let me just say that if she did, it would be the shortest ride in the history of bus rides! LOL. We live right across the street from the school! Needless to say, with school starting on Monday, I bet you anything that she will ask me one more time again this year.

And with that, I am off to try and catch some zzzzzzz's! TRY is the operative word here. But I will be back tomorrow with some of my other layouts.

August Owl Tree Studio Layouts!

School is nearing and August is closing.  These past couple of weeks have be CRAZY! I have been trying to get a schedule back in place! With all those kids, a schedule is much needed and I just work better knowing that I have some quiet time at lunch :) Volleyball is in full swing, my car decided it knew better than I did and occasionally...at the worst times..it thinks it is being stolen, so it shuts itself down and there I am stranded in the parking lot. Needless to say, $500 and a week later, I got my car back! Then the air went out at the house in the 110 degree weather we have had this week!Ugh! I still haven't done any back to school shopping and the tax free weekend looms ahead...I REFUSE to go shopping on the tax free weekend, so tomorrow I will drag my girls out for a power hour of  BTS shopping! I have decided that I just need to lock myself in a room and scrap because that is what makes me happy! So, that is what I have done this month!  Here are my layouts from Owl Tree Studio. This completes my first month as a CT member for them and though it is more work than I planned because they are just launching, it has been loads of fun.  Just though I would share my latest work from them.  If you haven't done so already, you only have a week or so left to get these kits.  They are only available during the month of August, so stop by OTS today, sign up and start scrapping with these great kits!
